This was my first time ever hosting Thanksgiving, and renting from Mum’s made the whole process so easy and stress-free! The chairs were absolutely beautiful — so elegant, classy, and simple, and paired perfectly with the candle table décor. Everything elevated our space without feeling overdone. Mum’s was incredibly easy to communicate with and was able to help us last minute, which I truly appreciated. I’ll definitely be renting again and highly recommend them for any event!

Mum's the Word provided the best service that one could imagine. They were incredibly responsive and communicative with the utmost clarity at every juncture. They provided exactly what we needed, and the very clear and complete booking process alleviated all the long and drawn out quotes associated with typical rental companies that have minimums and strict requirements. Additionally, they were able to deliver and pick up our items in a very tight time window which saved us from so much stress. They also advised us on the best setup given the time of day and lighting. Amazing. So thankful for their team!

Their service was fantastic! They were able to accommodate a tight turn around and were very patient through the quote process. Above all else the rentals were very high quality. Will definitely use them again for future events 😊

We rented yard games for our wedding, and they were an absolute hit! The whole process—from booking to pickup and drop off—was smooth, professional, and completely stress-free. The games were in great condition, looked fantastic, and kept our guests entertained for our coffee hour! Everyone from kids to grandparents joined in the fun! We couldn’t be happier with the service and would 100% recommend them for any event. Thank you for helping make our big day even more memorable!

I highly recommend Mums the Word Event & Rentals! We rented tables and chairs from them for our wedding, and everything was absolutely amazing.
A special thank you to Chrysantha, who truly came to the rescue when I was stressed after the company I originally planned to use canceled on me at the last minute. From the moment I contacted her, she was kind, reassuring, and incredibly helpful. She made the entire process easy and took so much stress off my shoulders during a very busy time.
The team was friendly, professional, and on time, and all of the tables and chairs were in great condition. Their excellent customer service and reliability helped make our wedding day go smoothly.
I am so grateful for their help and would highly recommend Mums the Word Event & Rentals to anyone planning an event. Thank you for helping make our special day so wonderful! ❤️💍✨

Lovely to work with, umbrellas were so cute and it all turned out great. So friendly and kind!!

Maxwell & KatelynWedding 2026 | Frederick, MD

Highly recommend! We rented dinner tables, cocktail tables, chairs, and linens for our backyard event. Chrysantha understood our vision for the party and guided us to make it happen. She offered tons of linen color options. Delivery and pick up were smooth. She knows how to manage a project! We were so grateful she included extra tablecloths because, of course, the buffet table needed a refresh between dinner and dessert. Chrysantha’s emails and texts were full of enthusiasm for our party — like she was as excited about our big night as we were!

Thank you for being so accommodating with my rental. I appreciate the extra time you took to send me photos of the tablecloths. I highly recommend Mums the word. Superb customer service.

Hawa40th Birthday Party 2025 | Frederick, MD

I rented tables and chairs for my baby sprinkle in June. Chrysantha was so easy to work with, ensured I had everything I needed (even reminded me of things I hadn't thought of we definitely needed), and delivery and pick up was smooth. Will definitely be using Mum's The Word Events & Rentals for all of my events moving forward.

Chrysantha was so helpful, responsive and supportive. I need a few chairs and a table for a birthday gathering I was having. Chrysantha saw that I inquired and made an account and reached out to me to see if I was still interested. I had so much going and her following up with the inquiry helped me remember to book for the chairs and table and make my event perfect. I was on the fence about needing chairs but I am glad I made the choice to have them and to use Mums. I will recommended 10/10 and if I have anything else definitely inquire with Mums again.

Mum’s The Word was amazing to work with. So positive, friendly, & responsive. The evening that I was supposed to pick up the umbrellas, we rented they were able to switch up the plan at the last minute and deliver them rather than having us pick them up. The umbrellas were the perfect touch for the bridal shower & I highly recommend this company!

We couldn't have been happier with our experience. My husband and I rented 6 high top tables and jumbo games for a baby shower, and everything was perfect. Communication was clear from start to finish, drop-off was smooth, and they even walked us through how to break down the tables. Pickup afterward was just as easy. It's clear this business cares about their customers — highly recommend for your next event!

We last-minute rented chairs for our (small) wedding at DC War Memorial. The service was professional, responsive, delivered early, set chairs up thoughtfully (they look good in photos), stayed until tear down. They made it SO easy. Price was reasonable and worth it. Would use them again anytime.
