Real talk from someone who loves a backyard bash
A few things I have learned that will actually make your backyard party better:
- Set up your rentals the night before if you can. Everything is in place, you wake up ready, and you are not scrambling an hour before guests arrive. Make sure to check the weather before just in case it's gonna rain the night before.
- Put a welcome drink station right at the entrance. A big dispenser of lemonade or a cooler with cold drinks. Guests walk in from the heat, grab something cold, and immediately feel taken care of. On a hot summer day this is everything.
- Cocktail tables near the food keep people from hovering in one spot. Spread them around and the party naturally fills the whole space instead of everyone bunching up at the food table.
- Yard games go in the corner away from the food. You want people moving around and mingling, not standing in one area all night. Trust me on this one!
- Floor length linens. Always. Even at a casual cookout. It takes the whole setup from nice to WOW instantly and your photos will thank you.

Can you deliver for labor day weekend? Yes! Text us directly at 301-276-4939 and we will let you know exactly what is available for your date. Last minute orders are always welcome via call or text and we will always do our best to make it work!
How far in advance do I need to book? Online booking requires 3 days minimum. Same day, next day, and same week orders are always welcome via call or text. Just reach out and we will figure it out together!
Do you offer delivery and setup? Yes! Delivery and setup are available add-ons you can select right at checkout. We show up, set everything up, and come back after to break it all down and take it away. Prefer to save on fees? Free warehouse pickup in Frederick is always an option too!
What tables work best for backyard parties? It depends on your vibe! Rectangle tables work great for food stations, gift tables, and long seated dinners. Round tables are perfect for conversation and feel more intimate. Most backyard parties use a mix of both plus a couple of cocktail tables for mingling. Not sure what to order? Text us your guest count and we will tell you exactly what we would do!
What yard games do you have?Cornhole, giant Jenga, Tetris Tumbler XL, and giant Connect 4. We also have a Recess Game Bundle and a Pinterest Game Bundle if you want a curated mix. Kids love them, adults get competitive, and they keep the energy going all party long!
Do you have kid chairs for backyard parties? Yes! Kid sized garden chairs and wood highchairs are both available and super popular for family cookouts and July 4th gatherings. Add them right in the catalog alongside your adult chairs!
