I'm Chrysantha. I own Mum's The Word Events & Rentals right here in Frederick, Maryland and I am genuinely just a girl who loves weddings and wants yours to be beautiful and special.
I answer my own texts. I pick up my own phone. When you call me you get ME, not a voicemail that goes to a shared inbox somewhere. I care about your wedding because I've chosen to build a business around caring about events and the people who throw them.
This summer I set up our sparkling champagne gold chiavari chairs at CrossVines Winery for a wedding that felt elegant and romantic and completely right for that venue. We brought our white garden chairs to Strong Mansion and that ceremony was stunning in the most effortless way. Simple, classic, and exactly what the couple wanted. The couple made their own centerpieces and it was EVERYTHING!

Here's something I don't think most rental companies do. I actually build my inventory based on what real clients ask for. Our chiavari chairs exist because a wedding planner requested them. Our fringe umbrella exists because a bride needed it for her Strong Mansion ceremony. The number of grooms, yes GROOMS, who have specifically hunted us down asking about flameless candles for their venue has genuinely surprised us! Venues are increasingly no-flame. We're currently sourcing high quality realistic LED taper candles that pair with our existing ribbed glass holders. If your venue is no-flame and you've been struggling to find a solution locally, this one's for you!
- Natural crossback chairs for the bride who wants that warm romantic French garden feel. We're watching for the right inventory opportunity on this one!
